Favorite Birthday Memories

Sep 22nd, 2008 by Beverly | 2

Give Me Five is sponsored by Becca at Becca’s Buzz and was designed to share fun information with each other in a simple short list. This weeks theme is favorite Birthday memories.

Austin’s 1st Birthday!

We had family & friends over. This was exciting for me & Steven because Austin is our first born.

Alyssa’s 1st Birthday!

It is always exciting to share your child’s first Birthday with family & friends. Alyssa is our second born.

Autumn’s 1st Birthday!

Autumn is our last child & her 1st Birthday was just as important & special as the other two children. God has blessed us with three beautiful children.

My 26th Birthday!

Steven & I had been married for two years. He had all of our friends meet us for dinner. This was a complete surprise. I thought knew that he was taking me out to dinner, however I did not know that he had invited all of our friends also. I was completely shocked to see all of them there when we got to the restaurant. You see this was totally out of character for my husband. He does not like surprises & is not a big fan of crowds. To see how he set aside his feelings to do something so nice for me was the best Birthday gift ever.

My 36th Birthday!

That would be this year. This was actually a Anniversary/Birthday treat. We went to Sea Trail Resort without the kids. He got to play golf and I went to the spa. We had a great time walking the beach & having time to enjoy each other without the interruptions of little ones.

What I have been up to.

Sep 15th, 2008 by Beverly | 1

WOW! It is hard to believe that it has been 2 weeks since my last post. I am entering a new season in my life. Today I am going to share what has been going on in my life over the past few weeks. As many of you know I have been a stay at home mom for 7 years and it has been such a blessing to me and my family. This year Alyssa my second child started Kindergarten. It is hard to believe that she is now 5 years old. Time has flown by so quickly.

Not only has my second of three children started school, I have gone back to work part-time as a Preschool Teacher. I have nine 2 1/2 -3 year olds. They are such a joy to work with. We are all getting to know each other and learn each others personalities. I have been busy preparing lesson plans and working on activities for our class. On top of that I have been sick with a sinus and ear infection for 2 weeks. I am finally getting better. Today is the first day in about 2 weeks that I have not had a bad headache.

I am sharing all of this with you to let you know that even though I had not blogged in 2 weeks, I am not going anywhere. God has opened this door for me & I can not wait to see the blessings that come from it.

I am still working on my printable 10 week devotion. So please keep me in your prayers. Pray for my health, for time managament and clarity in all areas.

I will keep you posted on how Preschool is going.  God Bless.

Happy Labor Day!

All My Blessings

Aug 28th, 2008 by Beverly | 4

  • This week I am thankful that Austin got a teacher that is warm and loving. He so needed this after his struggles last year.
  • That my husband will soon be working close to home again. He is now driving 2 hours round trip.
  • That we were protected during the bad weather yesterday.
  • For God’s amazing grace. He is an awesome God.
  • For my husband. He puts up with my frazzledness these days. Things have been a little disorganized around her lately & that drives me crazy. I like to be organized.
  • I am thankful for my friends & my blogging buddies.
  • Thankful for this meme.

All things work together for good

Aug 20th, 2008 by Beverly | 11

This has to be one of my favorite scriptures. God keeps reminding me of this scripture lately. I need to learn to trust Him and follow His path for my life not my own.

This verse brings comfort even in difficult times in my life for I know that “all things work together for good to those who love God.” He wants to give us more than we can even imagine, we just have to trust Him.

Fire Proof

I can not wait to see this movie. I am a fan of the Kendrick brothers. My family has seen the other two movies that they produced. I am amazed that the actors are volunteers for each of their movies.

To find a theather near you visit the Fire Proof website. Tell everyone you know about this movie.

MSNBC is taking a poll on “In God We Trust”

Here’s your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our faith in God, as a nation. MSNBC is taking a poll on “In God We Trust” to stay on our American currency.  Please send this to every Christian you know so they can vote on this important subject. Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off the web page. Poll is still open so you can vote.

What am I up to now?

Aug 18th, 2008 by Beverly | 3

I had my coaching session this morning with my business coach . And we have decided that I need to start a new project. This will be stretching me of coarse, but nothing comes without sacrifice. For me that sacrifice will be my comfort zone. I like to stay where it is comfortable.

My first free printable is getting great reviews. All of the comments that I have received have been encouraging.  This new project  will help parents with children between the ages of 4 and 7 have the tools that they need to teach their children to learn scripture.  I can’t wait to see how this project will turn out. Even though I will be stretched beyond what I can imagine, I know it will be worth it in the end.

Over the next few weeks this project will keep me very busy, so blogging will be limited. I will continue to blog but maybe not as often as I have been. I will be keeping you posted on my progress.

Please pray for wisdom and guidance. Be sure to keep a watch for the release of my new project.
