Free Printable: Teach Your Kids Scripture
I discovered right away after launching my blog that I was getting a lot of traffic from parents looking for tools and ideas for teaching their kids scripture. I recently posted some recommendations for great books and devotionals that families and kids can use - but I wanted to do something a little more personal as a special thank you to everyone who has been visiting and commenting on my new blog.
Blogging has been one of the most rewarding and challenging things I’ve done in my efforts to build an online business and connect with other moms on the internet. So every little bit of support has meant a lot to me.
What I created is a short printable (it’s about 15 pages long) with a few activities that you can use to help your kids learn some scripture. There are a few pages of scriptures that your kids can trace and a page of sample flash cards as well as some other idea starters for you.
I have been a Sunday School Teacher for thirteen years, whether it be in Children’s Church or Vacation Bible School. Between what I do at church and what I do at home with my own kids - I have a lot of great ideas to share - more than I could fit in one little report - so don’t be surprised if I don’t annoucne a longer resource one of these days soon.
This printable resource is totally free, no strings attached, just grab it and go and PLEASE feel free to share with others in any way you can.
You can link back to this post to encourage others to come pick it up - or, if you want you can give away from your blog so long as you don’t change anything and my links stay intact.

Enjoy! And please, if you enjoy the printable, leave me a comment and be sure to subscribe to my RSS feed so you can know about any future printables I make available.

This is so great - 15 pages of Free Goodness. I was looking for more ideas.
It isn’t as good as FREE, but a book we love and use and has made a difference for our young ones (about pre-schoolers) is a book called “This Bible Talks!” by Pamela Fischer. Narrated by Michael David McGuire. Website: http://www.thisbibletalks.com We really love it so I thought I would share!
Thanks again!

Beverly, this is a wonderfully practical, and creative book. My girls are 15 and 11 and we have been learning scripture since they were little. We have always enjoyed putting scripture to music, saying them in a syncopated way, adding motions, etc. Now that they are older, I try to keep a Bible verse posted on a plate stand in my kitchen. We made learning the weekly Bible verse part of their chore list. I think your book will be a blessing to many families. Keep up the good work!
